Mani Ratnam’s Next With Karthi Pushed Back To September

Mani Ratnam’s next project has been long awaited by the movie buffs. After the link up of many actors, it was finalized that Karthi and Sai Pallavi will feature as the lead pair in the film. It was reported that the film will go on floors in June, however it has now been postponed.

Sources close to the director claim that the venture will now go on floors in September. Though, it is yet-to-be confirmed by the makers. The director plans to commence the shooting of the film in Kashmir. He also shot for blockbuster film ‘Roja’ in Kashmir.

Karthi will soon start working out for the film as the director has asked him to shed the extra kilos. He will be seen playing the role of an NRI pilot in the flick, who falls in love on his trip to India. Mollywood beauty Sai Pallavi will be seen playing a doctor in the untitled venture, which will have music by A.R. Rahman.
