Megha Akash Teamed Up With Sundar C Simbu's Film

It was earlier reported that Sundar C and Simbu are teaming up for a film. And now, Megha Akash has also been called on the board. The actress has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. Well, the flick is said to be a remake of the Telugu hit Attarintiki Daredi.

The film is all set to go on floors from this month. It is said that the makers met Megha recently and signed her on for the project. Moreover, they are yet to lock the rest of the cast, though. Major portions of the film will be shot in Hyderabad, and the first schedule will begin by month-end. Interestingly, this film is a first of sorts for Sundar C — he is teaming up with Simbu and Megha for the first time.

Other than this, the filmmaker is also working on the period magnum opus Sangamithra. On the other hand, Simbu is filming for Venkat Prabhu’s Maanadu, while his film with Mani Ratnam, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, is ready for release. Meanwhile, Megha is shooting for Gautham Menon-Dhanush’s Enai Noki Paayum Thota.
