Murali Karthick Signs Vatsan Chakravarthi For His Next

Though Vatsan Chakravarthi’s role in Engaeyum Eppothum was small, but, it was lauded by all. Now the actor has signed his next flick Kalavu, which will see him in a supporting role. The movie is being helmed by Murali Karthick.

Talking about his role in the film, Vatsan said, "I play a jobless, but an arrogant guy who doesn't mind showing off his muscles. The movie also stars Kalaiyarasan, Karunakaran and Venkat Prabhu. The story revolves around three guys — Kalai, newcomer Gautham and I. What happens to these boys forms the crux of the story."

This is not the first time that Vatsan will be teaming up with director Murali. They both worked together three years ago for a 40-minute pilot film. However, the actor who has been born and brought up in Chennai, said that it was not a child’s play for him to make it big in Kollywood. He said that he did Engaeyum Eppothum when he was 18-years-old which was a box office hit. Though he was not aware of the importance of a box office hit at that time, but, now he has realised the importance of a box office success. He further stated that all these years have been a learning experience for him.
