Nandhan Ram Always Wanted To Be An Actor

Belonging to a filmy background with his father Sirpi a music director actor Nandhan Ram always knew that he wanted to become an actor. He said acting came naturally to him. Since his childhood, Nandhan knew what is happening in Kollywood.

"Ever since I was a kid, I always saw film industry people hanging out at my place. So, my fascination for cinema began then. A lot of my father's friends suggested that I take up acting as a profession since I look good (laughs). I even did my graduation in film technology,” said Nandhan.

When asked about his debut film Palli Paruvathile, he said, "Vasudev (director) said he was doing a story, which has the hero playing the role of a schoolboy. I went clean-shaved, with my hair cut short. We did a photo shoot and he was convinced that I could pull off the role. In fact, he didn't even ask me to mouth the dialogues. But he did tell me that for a particular sequence, I need to tonsure my head. I was taken aback as this was my first film. But then he narrated my role and told me the importance of the sequence that needs me to do this."

KS Ravikumar and Urvashi essay the role of his parents, while Venba plays his lady love.
