Nantha To Work On Another Female Centric Film Post Valla Desam

Director Nantha is currently preparing for his upcoming movie Valla Desam. The film starring actress Anu Hasan will mark her comeback in Tamil cinema after a long hiatus of 5 years. Though the actress appeared in Telugu and Malayalam movies, but her last Tamil film was Endhukante... Premanta! Yen Endral Kadhal Enben which released in 2012.

Talking about the film, Nantha said, “In our society, there is still this wrong notion that women after marriage should spend taking care of the children and the home. So, we wanted to show what their real potential is with this movie.” Most portions of the movie were shot in London, while only 30 percent were shot in Chennai.

Valla Desam had a preview in London where it was lauded by everyone present there. After the film’s release, the director will start working on another women-centric movie. He also plans to work in an English movie in 2018. When asked about the name of the actor in the English film, he refused to reveal his name, but said that he will cast a popular actor who has acted in movies like Mission Impossible, Mummy, and Harry Potter series.
