No Rift Between Ajith and Vishal: South Indian Film Artistes Association

Following speculations of a tiff between Ajith and Vishal, the South Indian Film Artistes Association headed by Nasser has said that there are no issues between Ajith, Vishal or the Nadigar Sangam. Recently, to raise funds, the Natchathira (stars) Cricket League was formed and the match saw several industry personalities except Ajith. The reason for Ajith’s absence was speculated to be the tiff between the two actors.

Ponvannan cleared the air surrounding the actors and said, “It's not like Ajith has not been a part of events organised by the present Nadigar Sangam committe. For the last 7 years he hasn't been doing as a policy of not attending public events and acting in commercials. So there is not rift between Ajith and the Sangam”.

Regarding the supposed tiff between Vishal and Vaalu actor Silambarasan, the Poojai actor stated that he loves Simbu as a brother and respects him as an actor. He also stated that the members can’t leave the Sangam just because they are displeased with something. Vishal added that he has the right to voice his opinion as the General Secretary and that is just what he did.
