P. Vasu Brings In Ritika Singh For Shivalinga’s Tamil Remake

After making a hit with Kannada film Shivalinga, director P. Vasu has zeroed his lead actress for the Tamil remake with the same name in Ritika Singh. The actress from Irudhi Suttru is all set to pair along with Raghava Lawrence who will portray the lead character, Shiva. It is a crime thriller, where Shiva will investigate the murder case, which has an interesting eyewitness, a dove.

"I wanted someone new who hasn't done this of character. So far, only one film of Ritika's has released, so she is still relatively a fresh face in Kollywood. I liked her in Irudhi Suttru. It did not feel like her first film”, the filmmaker added.

Vasu further said that the character played by Ritika will be crucial one and would be par with Shiva. Thaman has been brought in as the music director for the film. The flick is all set to hit theatres on July 14 in Bengaluru.
