Pallavi Subhash replaced by Manjima Mohan in Gautham Menon's next

Malayalam actress Manjima Mohan has replaced Pallavi Subash in Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyad. The 22-year-old actress is making her Tamil debut with the Gautham Menon directorial. Manjima was cast after Gautham was impressed with her work in the recent Malayalam hit, Oru Vadakkan Selfie.

The actress started her career as a child artist in Malayalam movies like Madhuranombarakkaattu, Sundarapurushan and Priyam. Manjima, daughter of cinematographer Vipin Mohan, won the State Award under the child artist category. The actress, who is planning to pursue a career in acting, is super excited to be a part of such a prestigious project.

The actress will be paired opposite Silambarasan aka Simbu. The Telugu version of the film, which is yet untitled and features Naga Chaitanya in the lead, is on the floors as well. Manjima may also play the lead in the Telugu version as well.
