Question Regarding ‘Beep Song’ Angers Ilayaraja

Sung by Silambarasan and allegedly composed by young music sensation Anirudh Ravichander, the song is being criticised for its distinctive lyrics. Recently, All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) lodged a complaint against the duo, for showing women in bad light.
The raunchy song is again in news. Recently, Ilayaraja the veteran music composer attended an event regarding Chennai floods rehabilitation in Ethiraj College. After attending the event he addressed the media and lost his cool during the interaction session. Reports suggest that a reporter asked him a question related to the ‘Beep Song’ and that made him angry.
The 72 year-old felt that it was inappropriate time and place for the question. The video showing the music maestro in anger is going viral in the social networking websites. Recently, Dhanush was also roped in the controversy. The actor is not connected to the song in any way.
