R. Madhavan Feels Proud On Vikram Vedha's Success

R. Madhavan starrer ‘Vikram Vedha’ has been received well by the Tamil audience. The neo noir movie has also got brilliant reviews from the critics of Kollywood.  ‘Vikram Vedha’ is an action crime thriller that revolves around encounter specialist Vikram and notorious gangster Vedha.

On being asked about the movie’s success, Madhavan was quoted as saying, “I know we had done an exceptional film and I knew it was different. But the response has been unprecedented. More importantly, it has been extremely humbling and frightening. I don’t think we expected this to have such a phenomenal feedback from around the world and from the critics as well. Not one negative review, not one irresponsible review, nobody has revealed the plot or the twist and turns or the climax. This project has made me feel so proud and of course, a shot in the arm for my luck in selecting the right stories and the script”.

The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi. The movie is helmed by Pushkar-Gayatri and bankrolled under the banner of Y Not Studios.
