Rajinikanth’s New Look for Ranjith’s Film?

The untitled Ranjith’s film, for long, has been touted as the image makeover film for Rajinikanth. The Lingaa star is going to play an ageing gangster in this film. Recently, Rajinikanth was spotted sporting a long white beard, paying tribute to the legendry composer M. S. Viswanathan. Is this the new look of the veteran actor for Ranjith’s next?

Rajinikanth has sported beard in many films, which include Polladhavan, Baashha, Muthu, Arunachalam, Padayappa, Sivaji and also in Enthiran. This Ranjith directorial is going to be produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. The shooting of the film is scheduled for August.

Kalaiarasan will also play a prominent role in the film. A source told Hindustan Times, “Ranjith has given Kalaiarasan a very strong role to essay, though it's not clearly known yet what character he'll play”. Dinesh Ravi is also a part of this project while the female lead hasn’t been finalised, of now.
