Rajinikanth’s next ‘Lingaa’, a follow-up of Kochadaiiyaan

Superstar Rajinikanth is booked for another film after his upcoming flick Kochadaiiyaan releasing on May 9. The movie will be a follow-up of Kochadaiiyaan and is titled Lingaa. The news was dispatched by filmmaker K.S. Ravikumar yesterday through a social networking site Facebook, who posted a poster showing Anushka Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, A.R. Rahman, Rajinikanth and the director himself.

Rajinikanth is collaborating with the helmer and the Oscar winning music composer for the fourth time after Muthu, Padayappa and Kochadaiiyaan. Speculations have been rife that the shooting of the same will happen in Mysore and Rathnavelu will handle cinematography, but an announcement will be required to authenticate these updates. Produced by Rockline Venkatesh, the flick will be made under Rockline Productions’ banner and will release somewhere in 2015.
