In one of the rare gestures from superstar Rajinikanth, the Thalaivar has wished his villain from 2.0, all very best for his latest release, Rustom. The association between the Bollywood superstar and Kollywood legend began with S. Shankar’s sequel of Enthiran.

"Dear @akshaykumar ... I wish you all success for your forthcoming release #Rustom", read Rajinikanth’s tweet. Rustom releases today and is directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.

The tweet is unusual from the star as only 31 posts were made in three years from Thalaivar. Akshay Kumar has found a new love in Kollywood and he may appear in many more movies to come. Rajinikanth remains calm as his latest Kabali is set to mint 750 crores.
