Rajnikanth's 'Kaala' will echo 'Baasha' in a scene

After the success of ‘Kabali’, director Pa Ranjith and superstar Rajnikanth collaborate again for the upcoming flick, ‘Kaala’. Speculations are rife that a Ganesh Chaturthi scene from Rajnikanth’s 1995 blockbuster, 'Baasha', will be imitated in ‘Kaala’. Since the forthcoming movie is being shot is Mumbai, where Vinayakar or Ganesh Chathurthi involves grand festivity, the makers thought of incorporating the same as a backdrop in the film.

The filming of the movie began in May and the makers have supposedly completed shooting their first schedule. According to sources, Rajnikanth recently returned to Chennai earlier this week after completing his part in the first schedule. His portions in the schedule included- a fight scene, Thalaivar’s introduction song, and some other essential scenes.

‘Kaala’ is being produced by Dhanush. The movie also stars Huma Quereshi, Nana Patekar, Samuthirakani Suganya in key roles among others. Desimartini hopes that the movie fares well at box office.
