Ramprakash Rayappa Preparing For His Next Directorial Venture

Ramprakash Rayappa, who made his directorial debut in Kollywood with the movie Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhutthavum, is prepping up for his next film Suttu Pidikka Uttharavu. The film stars Vikranth, director Mysskin and debutant Suseenthiran. The director said that he will cast two actresses in the flick. While one actress will be cast opposite Vikranth, the second will be an independent character.

Talking about the film, Ramprakash said, “SPU is a crime thriller and although a fiction, it has layers of real life incidents and one can relate to it. After I locked the script, we finalised Vikranth for one of the three lead characters. Then, the first person who came to my mind for the role of an undercover investigative police officer was Mysskin sir. And I strongly felt that without Mysskin, the film will not be made.”

When asked why he decided to rope in Suseenthiran, Rayappa said, “I wanted someone, who looks different yet apt for the role.  Susee sir, along with Vikranth, works in a private security service. When I initially approached Susee sir, he was not all willing to come in front of the camera. But, still he listened to the script and was finally impressed with it.”

He added, “Mysskin sir is doing strenuous workouts to look fit and trim. Very few know that he is a sportsperson. However, there are only few khaki clad scenes. He comes as an undercover cop.”
