Reba Monica John To Debut In Kollywood

Actress Reba Monica John is known to have made her acting debut with the movie Jacobinte Swargarajyam, which was helmed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. The 23-year-old actress was recently in news as she filed a police complaint against a stalker, who was later arrested in Bengaluru.

Now, the actress will be stepping into the world of Kollywood with her upcoming movie titled as ‘Daavu’, helmed by Rambala. The romantic comedy genre movie also stars Kayal Chandran. Regarding the movie, the filmmaker was quoted as saying, “Daavu is a colloquial slang in Tamil, which means eyeing on a person. The hero will eye on many girls and finally, how a particular girl changes his life forms the rest. The story is narrated in a humorous manner”. He further added, “Since the role of a female lead is very important in a rom-com, we were looking for a girl, who has a pleasant look and Reba fitted the bill perfectly”.

Apart from ‘Daavu’, Reba Monica has also been roped in to star in another upcoming movie titled as ‘Jarugandi’. The movie will be bankrolled by Nithin Sathya and will also star Jai.
