Remake of ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’ Might Be On GV Prakash’s Cards

Nandita, who is basking the glory of her latest Telugu film ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’ is spotted in theatres even in the third week of the release of her film. The film is directed by VI Anand, and is a thriller mixed with supernatural elements and comedy. However, there are buzzes that GV Prakash will be remaking the film.

As per sources, “While GV Prakash has offered a huge sum, and is keen to buy the film’s Tamil remake rights as he feels it has a good market here, there are others who have shown interest too. Negotiations are on and the team in Hyderabad is trying to sell the film for a higher price. A similar offer has been made for Kannada as well. A decision will be taken soon”.  

‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’ is creating ripples at the box office and is expected to pool Rs 24 crore with its theatre run. On the work front, Nandita is gearing up for the release of Selva’s ‘Nenjam Marapathillai’. Desimartini hopes that the movie sails smooth at the box office.
