Romeo Juliet: Hansika Motwani, Jayam Ravi to come together

Actors Hansika Motwani and Jayam Ravi are set to share the screen space yet again after Engeyum Kadhal. The two will be working together in Romeo Juliet. The flick will be a rom-com and won’t be a typical Romeo-Juliet film that we have seen over the years. The movie will be directed by debutant Lakshman.

Confirming her presence in the film, Hansika said, “I will be shooting for this rom-com from next month. Though I have prior commitments, I gave my dates for this film because of the script. It will not be serious and emotional like the original Romeo and Juliet story, but a modern version, handled in a humorous way.”

Motwani and Jayam’s Engeyum Kadhal did wonders at the box office in 2011. It is expected that their on screen chemistry will help their next outing too to attract more viewers to the cinema halls. A photo shoot for the project has already taken place and the film will also go on the floors very soon. Details regarding other cast and crew plus the announcement about the release date of the flick are still awaited.
