Sai Pallavi To Play Tessa In Charlie Remake

Actress Sai Pallavi is all excited to make her Kollywood debut, that too opposite ace actor Madhavan. The Premam actress will appear in Malayalam blockbuster Charlie’s remake. Earlier it was said that Pallavi will be launched by top director Mani Ratnam, but it didn’t work out.             

“I am excited to share screen space with Madhavan sir and look forward for the shoot to begin,” Pallavi said. When Madhavan was approached to confirm his casting in the flick, Madhavan said, the actor replied, “I went onboard only after watching the film.”

Co-producer of the flick, Shruti Nallappa revealed that the changes are made to the script in order to suit the taste of Tamil fans, however, she ensured that the essence of the movie will be kept intact. On casting Madhavan as lead actor, Shruti revealed that it was a joint decision by Vijay and her to bring in the Irudhi Suttru star.
