Samantha Akkineni Talks About Her Experience While Shooting For 'Irumbu Thirai'

Kollywood actress Samantha Akkineni is known to have starred in many movies such as Theri, Janatha Garage , Anjaan and Ye Maaya Chesave. The actress will be starring alongside Vishal and Arjun in 'Irumbu Thirai'. This movie will also mark the directorial debut of P.S Mithran.

Samantha is portraying the character of a psychologist as ‘Dr. Rathi Devi’. The actress recently shared her experience during the shooting of the movie. She said, “I have shared screen space with the likes of Suriya and Vijay and the relationship was like I used to address both of them as ‘sir’ as a mark of respect. And when I came to the sets of Irumbu Thirai, I felt it was just the opposite. Vishal’s energy level was very high and at times I felt he was younger to me!”.

Regarding the debutant filmmaker, the actress said, “Mithran was confident of his work and now seeing the final product, I am happy I took the right decision of signing Irumbu”. Vishal is portraying the role of an army officer as ‘ Major R. Kathiravan’ and Arjun will be portraying a negative role. ‘Irumbu Thirai’ is slated to release on 26 January, 2018.
