Samantha To Begin Shooting For Vijay 61 In June

The shooting of Vijay 61 is going on in full swing. Directed by Atlee, the movie boasts an ensemble cast of Vijay, Kajal Agarwal, Samantha and Nithya Menen, Vadivelu, S.J. Suriya, Kovai Sarala, Sathyaraj and Sathyan. Vijay will be seen donning triple roles, one of a village leader, doctor and a magician.

Nithya Menon is paired opposite Vijay’s character of a village leader, while Kajal Aggarwal will be romancing his character of a doctor. The team is currently in Europe shooting for the scenes. The latest we hear that Samantha who will be romancing the magician Vijay will start shooting for her scenes in June.

The team will wrap up the Europe schedule by the end of the month and will start shooting scenes involving Samantha and magician Vijay once they reach Chennai. The Chennai shoot will be last schedule after which the team will start working on post-production. Vijay 61 talks about social message and will hit the theatres around Diwali 2017.
