Samuthirakani Roped In For Dhanush’s ‘Vada Chennai’

Rumours were doing the rounds that Dhanush’s much awaited project ‘Vada Chennai’ will go on floors from June 15, however the shooting did not commence from the said date. But reports suggest that director Vetrimaaran will soon kick-start the shoot of the film. He has recently made an interesting addition to the cast of the film which will thrill the movie buffs.

Reportedly, Samuthirakani has been roped in by the makers for the flick. The National Film Award winner has showed his talent in films like ‘Saattai’, ‘VIP’ and many others. It is still not known what role the veteran actor will play in the film, but soon an official announcement will be made regarding it.

 Samantha plays the female lead in the film and it will also have Andreah Jeremiah. Santhosh Narayan will score the music for the movie in which Daniel Balaji is likely to play the antagonist. The two-part gangster saga will be bankrolled by the Kolaveri Di star under his home banner Wunderbar Films.
