Sathru Will Have Kathir In Khaki For The First Time

The upcoming flick titled ‘Sathru’ has Kirumi actor Kathir in the role of a cop. This will be the first time the actor will be sporting khaki. He will be sharing screen space with Srushti Dange in the film which has been directed by Naveen Nanjundaan. Recently, the director spoke about ‘Sathru‘ and shared some insight on Kathir’s role in it.

Naveen stated that ‘Sathru’ is an "edge-of-the-seat action thriller", which is spread across one single day. Talking about casting Kathir for the role, the director said, “After considering a few actors, we felt that Kathir was the right choice as his body and intense demeanour would suit the straightforward cop role. If you notice, in Tamil cinema, every actor would want to do a cop’s role at least once in their career, as the movie would give them a star status. Sathru will bring about a similar push in Kathir’s career”.

Kathir will lock horns with Laguparan, who plays the villain in the film. The cast also includes Neelima, Marimuthu, Ponvannan and Suja Varunee. Mahesh Muthusamy will be handling the cinematography while Amrish will work on the music.
