Sayyeshaa To Play Vijay Sethupathi’s Love Interest in Junga

Actress Sayyeshaa made a stunning debut with Vanamagan in which she was paired opposite Jayam Ravi. Thereafter, she was signed alongside Karthi and Vishal in Karuppu Raja Vella Raja, which failed to rake in moolah at the box office. And now sources have revealed that the actress has been signed to play the female lead in the movie Junga.

The film will be directed by director Gokul. When asked from him whether Sayyeshaa is playing the female lead, he said, “It is true that we are in talks with Sayyeshaa. But we are yet to make the official announcement. So, we will know about it in near future.”

Touted to be a comedy-actioner, the flick will reunite Gokul with Vijay Sethupathi, who earlier worked with him in Idharku Thaanae Aasaipattai Balakumara. Talking about his role in Junga, Gokul said, “His character will not be similar to what he played in Idharku… but there will be quirkiness in his role.” The team will head to Paris in October to shoot for the flick.
