Shankar Lauds Adhi’s ‘Sait Ji’

While busy shooting for Rajinikanth starrer 2.0, director Shankar took some time out of his busy schedule to check on the latest song release from composer Adhi, called Sait Ji. The number will feature in Meesaya Murukku, which will mark the debut of Hip Hop Adhi as an actor.

Interestingly, the multi talented star is also directing the venture, marking his directorial debut as well. It was Shankar, who was one of the first to give his reaction to the song and put his view across over his Twitter handle. "Enjoyed 'Saitji' song promo of hip hop tamizha...had a smile after a stressful shoot today", wrote Shankar. Adhi instantly twitted back and thanked the genius director.

Actress Aathmika will play the lead female in the flick and Adhi has also brought in Vivek and Vijayalakshmi for crucial roles. Meesaya Murukku is being bank rolled by Sundar C. under the banner of Avni Movies. The film is expected to hit cinemas by the end of current year.
