Shooting Schedule of 'Kabali'

According to the latest updates, director Pa. Ranjith has commenced shooting for ‘Kabali’. The film, starring Rajinikanth in the lead role, was officially launched on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi. The film will be produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu.

The superstar will again face the camera after his last film ‘Linga’, which was released in the last month of previous year. It is being said that Rajinikanth has given a 106-day call sheet to the director and will shoot for the film till the end of January. The first leg of the shooting is taking place in Chennai. The ‘Kabali’ team will then reportedly move to locations in Malaysia for the next leg. 

Contrary to the plans for shooting in Malaysia, the team will visit the country only to shoot the last segment. According to sources, Rajinikanth will play the role of ‘Kabaleeshwaran’. The plot will show the superstar attempting to save Tamil labourers from oppression. Along with Rajini, the cast includes Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Kalaiyarasan, Dinesh, Prakash Raj and Kishore.
