Shruti Haasan To Work With Her Father in His Next With Haasan

Shruti Haasan is gearing up for the shoot of ‘Singam 3’. The film will go on floors this month and the actress will be seen playing a CID officer in the film. She has another major project in her kitty. She will be playing the female lead in the Telugu remake of ‘Thani Oruvan’ starring Ram Charan in the lead. The actress has acted with many biggies of Kollywood, but is yet to do a movie with his father Kamal Haasan. Now, we won’t have to wait much to see them together on the big screen.

According to reports, the father-daughter duo will team up for a new film which will be directed by Rajeev Kumar.  A source revealed "The director of Kamal's next film Rajeev Kumar has an idea of casting her in his film with Kamal. There is also a possibility of Kamal and Shruti teaming up for a new film altogether. That Shruti and Kamal are working on a film together is confirmed right now, but other details about the project are not finalised".

The director has previously worked with the Thoongavanam actor in ‘Chanakyan’. The film will be majorly shot in U.S. We will have to wait and see whether Shruti is roped in for the yet-to- be titled film or not.
