Singam 2 to hit the cinemas by June 2nd week

It has been a long time we have been talking about the highly anticipated movie Singam 2, which has huge expectations among movie-goers and Suriya’s fans. Finally some great news has come to the forefront that Singam 2 is going to release in the second week of June.

The production house of the film issued an official statement, "The film ('Singam 2') is currently undergoing post production work. It will have a grand audio launch on June 1 followed by worldwide release in the second week of the same month.” Singam 2 is a follow-up story to the blockbuster Singam which was helmed by the same director Hari. It was also remade in the Hindi film industry with Ajay Devgan in the lead role.

Singam 2 will also see stars like Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Vivek, Santhanam, Radha Ravi, Nassar, Vijay Kumar, K Vishwanath and Manorama. Apart from domestic shooting spots like Chennai, Hyderabad and Kerala, the crew also flew outside the country to Malaysia and South Africa, to give the film a magnificent touch. The original film’s music composer Devi Sri Prasad worked again on the sequel, which is produced by K. E. Ganavelraja.
