Soori replaces Sathish in Kannan's directorial next

An upcoming venture by filmmaker R. Kannan had Sathish in the main role but now it seems that the director has a change of mind as he has roped in Soori for the role. Kannan mentions the unavailability of Sathish as the reason for change in cast.

The maker comments, "Sathish has to shoot with Vemal and Priya Anand at a stretch for almost 45 days. But, these dates are clashing with the ones he has allotted for Murugadoss's film with Vijay. So, we've roped in Soori now. His chemistry with Vemal has worked wonders with the audience, and I'm sure this will work to the advantage of our film. He will be joining us in the rehearsals now." He also unveils that the title of the film has also been changed to Oru Oorla Rendu Raja as he finds it fit as per the storyline. The movie produced by Michael Rayappan, is given music by D. Imman. The flick is yet to decide on its releasing date.
