Sriman Talks About His Miruthan Zombie Experience

Miruthan is the first South Indian zombie film. The movie stars Jayam Ravi and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles. Sriman makes an appearance in the second half of the film and recently revealed that he was spooked by the zombies on the set.

The actor shared, “The film is about zombies. To shoot a particular sequence, we built a set on the Binny Mills ground — a fairly forlorn place. On any given day, around 650-700 people would be dressed as zombies on the set. Also, applying make up to that many people was a huge task. So, every night, the make up team would begin work around 9.30 and work non-stop. Despite their efforts, it would be 5.30 in the morning by the time they finished. Every time I stepped out of my caravan at night or early morning, I would see zombies everywhere. It was an eerie feeling which sent shivers down my spine”.

Sriman also stated that he completed his scenes in 19 days. He shared, “It is an interesting phase and I have lots to look forward to this year”. The actor has films like Ulkuthu and Motta Siva Ketta Siva, as well as Vijay’s next film to look forward to.
