Suriya, Karthi To Put On A Memberable Show On Dad Sivakumar’s 75th Birthday

Star sons Suriya and Karthi are quite excited about their dad’s 75th birthday and want to make it special. Interestingly, it will also coincide with Sivakumar’s 50  years in industry. Now, film historian and producer G Dhananjayan is coordinating the complete event in coordination with both the heroes.  

"I don't have a habit of celebrating birthdays, but keeping my 75th birthday as a reason, we are bringing out two coffee table books on my works as an artist and as an actor on October 27, my birthday. And on October 24 evening, a painting exhibition containing my works will be inaugurated at Lalit Kala Akademi. The paintings will be on display on October 25-26. We are putting up 140 of my best paintings — each on a 30x40 inches canvas — that I did over the course of seven years", said Sivakumar.

Being humble, the veteran said that he doesn’t feel that he has achieved a lot in film industry, though cherishes that he had honour of working with stalwart of that generation. One of the books to be inaugurated will have pictures and lines from 100 films from his filmography.
