Swathi Comes On Board For Aandavan Kattalai Telugu Remake

Director Manikandan’s Aandavan Kattalai, featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Ritika Singh, was a pragmatic account that covered various issues, including fake passports and brain drain. Fans, here is some good news. Aandavan Kattalai is being remade in Telugu by director Chinni Krishna, who has helmed films like Brother of Bommali and Veedu Theda.

As per sources, “The director has roped in debutant Rakshak and actress Swathi Reddy for the movie. The shooting of this yet-to-be-titled movie has commenced. Since the original story is set in Chennai, the Telugu script has been tweaked to suit the taste of audiences.”

We hear that actor Dhanraj will be seen essaying a pivotal role in the film. If reports are anything to go by, Swathi Reddy was tremendously elated when she was approached for the role of Ritika Singh’s and she immediately signed the dotted line. Aandavan Kattalai was a sleeper hit in Tamil Nadu.
