Trisha Likely To Roped-in For Remake Of ‘Queen’

It is known that veteran actress Revathi will be helming the Tamil remake of hit Bollywood film ‘Queen’. B-town beauty Kangana Ranaut bagged the National Film Award for Best Actress for the movie. But till now, no actress has been finalized for the remake. But now it looks like, that the makers have found the face to play the challenging role.

Reports suggest that Trisha Krishnan is likely to play the lead in the flick. A source close to the actress revealed, "The makers have once again initiated talks with Trisha. The project requires bulk dates and Trisha already has two projects in her kitty. She is figuring out how she can set aside dates that will require her to shoot abroad for a long schedule".

Reportedly, actress Suhasini Maniratnam has been brought onboard to pen the dialogues for the yet-to-be titled venture. Soon an announcement will be made regarding the rest of the cast and crew. The film will be bankrolled by director-actor Thiagarajan under Lakshmi Shanthi Movies banner.
