Trisha to work with Manimaran?

Film director Manimaran who debuted with Udhayam NH4 is all set to make a film with Jai. Apparently, the filmmaker wants Trisha to be the leading lady in his film. However, we hear that Trisha has not given her confirmation yet.

A source says, "The production house is in talks with Trisha for this project, in which she will be playing an urban role. The actress liked the story and she is working on her dates. Manimaran is planning to start the film in August, but Trisha has no dates for this month. She is trying to squeeze the dates for this flick. If things go well, she will sign on the dotted line in a couple of days." The film was initially titled Podiyan, but the title would be changed soon as director Thankar Bachan has registered the same name for his next project.

Actress Trisha Krishnan was last seen in Endrendrum Punnagai. She starred in many successful films like Saamy and Ghilli. The pretty actress also won Vijay Award for Favourite Heroine and was nominated for Filmfare Best Tamil Actress Award for her marvellous performance in romantic drama film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.
