TV anchor Jacqueline To Star In Nayanthara’s Next

The Kollywood industry has always been a platform for the newbies to start their acting career. And once again it has picked up a new talent from the small screen. Television anchor Jacqueline, who is very popular among the audience for hosting a comedy show, is all set to feature in Nayanthara’s upcoming film.

A source revealed that the anchor will be part of the team, where she will be portraying the role of Nayanthara’s younger sister in the flick. Many such TV anchors and small screen actors have been picked up for their talent by the Kollywood directors and Jacqueline is the lucky one this time. Actress Divya Dharshini, Ma Ka Pa Anandh, and Siva Karthikeyan are some of the earlier small screen actors that have been absorbed into the industry.

The anchor is now part of Kolamavu Kokila, which is being bankrolled by Lyca Production. it will be a film directed by Nelson, which will have Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer. The film has gone on floors from the first week of August this year. This will be the acting debut of Jacqueline in films.
