Udhayanidhi Stalin Brought On Board For Priyadarshan’s Next

Actor Udhayanidhi Stalin entered the film industry as a film producer and distributor. Destiny seems to have had greater opportunities for the Tamil star as he subsequently ventured into the film industry as an actor through the romantic comedy, ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ (2012). According to recent reports, the producer-turned-actor has collaborated with director Priyadarshan.

Recently, Udhayanidhi took to Twitter to confirm his collaboration with Priyadarshan. The actor wrote, “Happy to announce my next project with director Priyadarshan sir! Produced by Moonshot Entertainment Santosh sir”. The project, touted to be a comedy drama, will be a remake of Fahadh Faasil’s blockbuster Malayalam film ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’.

Sources have revealed, “The project goes on the floors very soon. While the film's genre remains a mystery, it is however learnt it will be high on entertainment like most of Priyadarshan's films”. The movie will also star comedian MS Bhaskar in a pivotal role. The film is set in Tenkasi, Theni and Madurai.
