Velaiyilla Pattadhari to hit screens on July 18

Velraj’s first directorial venture Velaiyilla Pattadhari is all set to hit theatres on July 18. The film features Dhanush and Amala Paul in the lead roles while, Samuthirakani and Saranya Ponvannan play supporting roles. The movie produced by Dhanush has already created much hype after its trailer was released in the last month.

Velraj and Dhanush have earlier worked together in Aadukalam and 3. P. Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures tweeted, "VIP all set to release on July 18th and it will be the biggest release of Dhanush". VIP will also mark the Silver Jubilee for Dhanush as this would reportedly be his 25th film. Amala Paul who plays the role of a doctor in the movie would also be seen on screen for the first time after her wedding. Amala reportedly got married to director A. L. Vijay on June 12 in Chennai. With Anirudh’s music and Dhanush’s voice, this movie definitely has something special to offer.
