Venkat Prabhu to direct Suriya in his next finally

After all the talks and speculations about who will be cast as a lead actor in filmmaker Venkat Prabhu’s next, it can be said that finally actor Suriya has made the cut. Earlier there was news that Karthi has been roped in by the director as the male lead for his untitled next but obviously that didn’t happen.

A source said, “It will be typical Venkat Prabhu film for Suriya, with his usual mix of fun and action. Talks are on, though nothing about the film is confirmed as yet. If things work out, Suriya might shoot for this film after Lingusamy's film. In the mean time, Venkat will also fine tune his script.” On the other hand Venkat preferred to keep things unwrapped when contacted.
