Venkat Prabhu replaces Suriya with Karthi in Biriyani?

For his next film Biriyani, noted director Venkat Prabhu has roped in superstar Karthi in the lead role. Earlier, reports had come that Prabhu will be doing his film, which will be a 3D flick, with Suriya. However, the director said the film he will do with Karthi is not the same one which he had planned to do with Suriya. The 3D venture with Suriya as the lead is all alive and it will hit the floors after the star is done with his KV Anands Maatraan and Singham 2 with Hari. Biriyani -- A Venkat Prabhus Diet, is scheduled to go on floors in August. The names of actresses like Samantha, Ileana or Parineeti Chopra are doing rounds for the leading ladys role in the film.
