‘Vijay 60’ Launched Today

Even before the release of ‘Theri’, Vijay has started with his next venture. The next film of the Puli actor, tentatively titled as ‘Vijay 60’, was launched early today. The film was launched in Chennai with a formal pooja.

The launch event was attended by film’s lead pair, Vijay and Keerthy Suresh, and few members of the crew. The actress took to Twitter and tweeted, "Pooja of #Thalapathy60 ! Need all your blessings and support @actorsathish @VijayaProdn @actorvijay". The actress’ performance in ‘Rajini Murugan’ helped her in bagging a major project.

Bharathi Reddy will be bankrolling the yet-to-be titled venture under Vijaya Productions banner. To be helmed by director Bharathan, the film will have Jagapati Babu and Daniel Balaji as the antagonists. Popular comedy actor Sathish Krishnan will also be seen in the movie. The shoot of the film is expected to begin soon. Reportedly, the shoot will last for a few days and it will resume after the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, which will be conducted in the mid of May.
