Vijay 61: Ilayathalapathy Vijay To Play A Cop In Atlee's Next?

Vijay has interesting projects in the pipeline this year. The Bairavaa actor has teamed up with Atlee for the forthcoming Tamil film, Vijay 61. Lately, a picture from the filming location of Vijay donning a veshti was leaked on social media.

If reports are to go by, the Theri actor will essay the role of a cop in Vijay 61. When Atlee and Vijay came together for Theri, the actor played a devoted father and an upright cop. However, we don’t if Vijay is essaying dual roles in the film.

Earlier, it was reported that Nithya Menen had been roped in to replace Jyothika, who pulled out of the project. The recent development is that Nithya has started shooting for the film. However, after the first slot is wrapped up, the team might take a break. Vijay 61 also stars Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, SJ Suryah, Sathyan and Kovai Sarala in the lead.
