Vijay Antony To Play Dual Role In Annadurai

It’s been just five years that actor Vijay Antony ventured into entertainment world as a lead actor and he has already made a name for himself. The actor was last seen in Jeeva Shankar’s political drama ‘Yaman’. He played a dual role in the flick. Seems like, he love doing dual roles as his upcoming flick ‘Annadurai’ will also see him playing double role.

This will be the directorial debut of Srinivasan, who has assisted filmmakers like Vasantha Balan and Suseenthiran. Vijay will play the roles of twin brothers — Annadurai and Thambidurai. talkinga bout the flick, director Srinivasan said, “Annadurai is a fictional story and not inspired from real life. However, I am a twin myself and  my brother’s name is Keerthivasan! The story happens between 2010 and 2017. Annadurai is totally a new dimension to Vijay Antony sir. I have taken up the topic of emotions among the twins and played it up”.

The flick will have debutant Diana Champika as Antony’s pair. Other actresses in the film are Telugu girl Mahima and Malayalam actress Jewel Mary. Srinivasan further added that the first half is jovial and peppy, whereas, the second half will bring tears.
