Vijay Is All Set To Enthral You With Triple Roles In Vijay 61

Director Atlee’s Vijay 61 has been in the news for a quite a long time. Vijay’s look in the movie has become a talk of the town. Earlier it was believed that the actor will play triple roles in the flick. Rumours were doing the rounds that he will play a Sikh man and a police officer. However, sources close to the team declined the news.

But now we have heard something else from a reliable source. “Vijay will appear in three different roles — a panchayat head, a doctor and a magician. The actor’s comic timing will be brought on screen through the magician’s role. His portions are intended to evoke laughter and lighten up the mood,” tells a reliable source.

For his role of a panchayat head, Vijay will sport a twirled moustache. The scenes in which the actor will be seen as a panchayat head are set in the 80’s with a rural backdrop and were shot in Chennai and Rajasthan. Nithya Menen will be paired opposite him in the retro portion. The team is currently shooting at picturesque locations in Europe. The flick is produced by Sri Thenandal Films.
