Vijay never complained of 3-hours make-up routine daily

Chimbudeven, who is working with actor Vijay for the very first time in his upcoming directorial Puli revealed his experience to work with the actor. He said that the Tamil star had to spend 3 hours to get his make-up done but “he cooperated fully”. Chimbudeven is working  with Vijay for the very first time in Puli.

Talking of Vijay, the Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi fame said, “I began to write the script two years ago, and it was Vijay who was on my mind from the beginning. When I narrated the script to him, he liked it very much and was excited about it. In fact, it was he who introduced me to the two producers, and things happened in a very short span of time”.

He continued, “He is someone who can pull any character with ease. In fact, he encourages the whole team on the set if our energy level drops all of a sudden. His make-up for the role takes about three and a half hours and he cooperated fully. There was not even a proper place to stay, when we were shooting deep inside a forest, but he never complained. Also, he learnt sword fight from stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan for the role, and in fact got trained from Sanglin, a stunt choreographer who was specially flown in for the film”.
