‘VIP 2’ To Hit Theatres On Diwali?

An upcoming comedy drama film, tentatively titled ‘VIP 2’ is looking for a release on Diwali. The movie is being made under the direction of Velraj. The film features Dhanush, Amy Jackson and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles. 

Many movies were already lined-up for a release on Diwali. The movies that are scheduled to be release on this day are Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thoogavanam’, Ajith’s ‘Adangadhavan’ (tentative title) and Suriya’s ‘24’. If rumours are to be believed, Dhanush’s movie is also looking all set to enter the Diwali race.

However, an official confirmation of it is still awaited. The shooting of this film started on March 20 in the current year. The flick is being produced by Dhanush. It is reported that the talented actor might play a role of a student in this movie.
