VIP 2’s Plot Borrowed From Raj Kanwar’s Laadla?

VIP 2 will mark Kajol’s comeback to Kollywood after a gap of two decades. She made her Tamil debut in 1997 with Minsara Kanavu. The film is also special to the Bollywood actress as she is donning a grey character in VIP 2 after 19 years after Gupt. The flick features Dhanush as the male lead.

The flick is about a coldblooded female entrepreneurial who look down upon her male employees. As VIP 2 releases today, gossip mills are churning out rumours that the flick is a remake of Raj Kanwar’s Laadla that featured Sridevi and Anil Kapoor. Reportedly, both the films share same story line.

Well, no official confirmation has been made upon the same. Let’s see if the concept that worked back then in 1994, will work today or not. The movie’s songs are doing extremely well and have become the fastest album in Kollywood to be streamed 2 million times in just 5 days.
