Vishal To Be Reinstalled As Member Of Producers’ Council?

Actor-producer Vishal has filed a fresh affidavit to revoke his suspension from producers’ council. As on the hearing on January 2, senior counsel appearing for the council submitted that even if Vishal expresses regret for his remarks, the issue could be settled. Thus, he would be submitting affidavit for the same in the next hearing.

His fresh affidavit reads, “I state that I convey my regrets to all concerned, if any of my statements in the above referred interview may have hurt anyone, because that was not my intention, and I undertake to abide by the rules and regulations governing the council, as always. I request that my temporary suspension may be revoked and that my normal membership may be restored.”

The whole controversy began when Vishal questioned the working style of the council in an interview to Ananda Vikadan. His remarks were his personal views, and even in that interview he clarified that he meant no personal attack to anybody.
