Will Kajal Aggarwal, Ilayathalapathy Vijay Reunite For Atlee’s Upcoming?

Ilayathalapathy Vijay has gained a fan base of his own with his acting prowess and philanthropic activities. While it’s known that the actor will soon collaborate with filmmaker Atlee for Vijay 61, it has been a secret that who will play the leading lady in the flick. If recent reports are to be trusted, actress Kajal Aggarwal has been approached by the makers to play the female lead in the much-anticipated movie.

If reports are to go by, this will be the third time when the Bommalattam actress will team up with Vijay. The two have earlier shared the screen space in A.R. Murugadoss’ 'Thuppakki’ and R.T. Neason’s ‘Jilla’. It is also said that Sai Pallavi will essay the role of another leading lady in the movie.

But, there are no confirmations about the new developments and official announcements are yet-to-be made. The screenplay for the movie has been penned by K.V. Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote screenplay for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’.  The Atlee directorial is expected to go on floors after Ilayathalapathy’s ‘Bairavaa’, which is helmed by Bharathan of Azhagiya Thamizh Magan fame, hits big screens.
