A Sneak Peek Into Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam's Next Film

Filmmaker Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam wielded the megaphone ‘Pelli Choopulu’ last year. The film not only did well at the box-office but was also applauded by the critics. Bankrolled by Raj Kandukuri and Yash Rangineni, the film starred Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma in the lead pair.

Now the filmmaker is all set to don the director’s hat again and this time with fresh faces. Giving a sneak peek into his next flick, the filmmaker said, “My film is a buddy comedy. What prompted me to write this is several friends I have made over the years. We all love our families — no doubt, but friends have a special place in our lives. In fact, there are things which we can’t share with family but tend to share with our friends without hesitation. It’s that emotion which is the inspiration for my story”.

As he is looking for fresh faces for the flick, he got over 1,100 entries in auditions. He added, “We have received over 1,100 entries. It’s really very overwhelming. At any cost, we plan to begin shooting the film by October. We will finish the shoot in 45 days”.
