Aisha Sharma Replaced By Pooja Jhaveri In Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Rogue’

Puri Jagannadh’s latest offering ‘Loafer’ with Varun Tej is getting mixed reviews. The film released on December 17 and the audiences as well as the critics are praising the Kanche actor for his brilliant acting in the film. The family-drama is doing a decent business at the box office. Now the director will be focusing on his next project.

It is known that Puri Jagannadh has collaborated with debutant Ishaan for his next titled ‘Rogue’. A lot of actresses have been linked with the role of the female lead in the flick in the past. First Amyra Dastur was being considered by the director. But he chose Aisha Sharma over the Bollywood beauty for the female lead. Now, Aisha Sharma has been replaced by another actress.

According to reports, Puri has roped in Pooja Jhaveri to play the female lead in his next. The actress replaces Aisha Sharma, who even shot for a schedule. The reason behind replacing the actress is still not known. But a source close to the project revealed, "Aisha Sharma did participate in the Bangkok schedule. However, things didn't work out and she left the project. Pooja Jhaveri has got the unconventional looks and is yet glamorous. She is very talented and that is one reason she was roped in as a female lead in a Dhanush film earlier. This could be her big break".
